Waxing FAQs

Waxing FAQs

How long should the hair be before I can be waxed?

If you shave, allow an minimum of 2-3 weeks growth or so the hair is ¾ of an inch long.

How long before I should get my next wax?

Everyone’s re-growth cycle is different, but most people re book every 4-6 weeks, however some can go 8 weeks and some may need to come every 3 weeks.

Will my hair grow back thicker and darker?

No. waxing pulls the hair out from the follicle weakening the root. It should grow back weaker, more sparse and easier to remove next time.

Does medication affect waxing?

Certain medications or products can thin the skin making it more likely to bruise or burn when being waxed. If you are unsure if your medication will affect your wax then please contact the salon before you come.
